A collision led to Tiverton getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Jarod Newsome hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Ross Schultz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A well placed King Clarke short distance shot in the 16th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Daron Conley hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Sappington FC's Merlin Oliver got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ross Schultz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilford Whittington having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Merlin Oliver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wilford Whittington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merlin Oliver in the 37th minute of play. Roosevelt Coates who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Nathanial Tripp when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Reynaldo Reagan's late challenge caught a Tiverton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reynaldo Reagan helped the player get up and apologised. Reynaldo Reagan kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Colin Covington kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ross Schultz made the kick off in the second half. Merlin Oliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Wilford Whittington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilford Whittington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ross Schultz in the 62nd minute of play. The goalkeeper, Wilford Whittington, was totally fooled by Sappington FC's Aldo Valenzuela, who 66 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 69 minutes, Colin Covington mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tiverton and the Sappington FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Tiverton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Colin Covington to maneuver through the defense. Ross Schultz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Wilford Whittington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Tiverton's Monroe Cardwell seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Monroe Cardwell the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tiverton protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Monroe Cardwell had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Wilford Whittington went to the wrong direction when Aldo Valenzuela was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Porter Mims blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilford Whittington having to make a save. Tiverton's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Merlin Oliver scored to the left of an out of position Wilford Whittington, making the score, 1-3. If Ross Schultz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ross Schultz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilford Whittington having to interfere. With a little luck, Tiverton's Wilford Whittington got control of the ball when Merlin Oliver tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilford Whittington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ross Schultz in the 92nd minute of the match. Tiverton's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Ross Schultz scored to the left of an out of position Wilford Whittington, making the score, 1-4. Sappington FC played a much better game than Tiverton and deserved their victory. The Tiverton players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
