After 6 minutes of play, Hyattsville FC's Stewart Blevins made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benny Hood was left in no man's land by his defense there! 12 minutes into the match, Hyattsville FC's goalkeeper Ernesto Holzer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tristan Bernier. After 13 played minutes Sherrelwood AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marc Whitley. Tristan Diggs hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sherrelwood AFC's zone, King Bravo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benny Hood came out of the goal and King Bravo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If King Bravo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marc Whitley got his second yellow card in the match during the 28th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 28th match minute, Sherrelwood AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Whitley to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Lujan kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Ernesto Holzer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tristan Bernier in the 34th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, King Bravo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hyattsville FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but King Bravo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Hyattsville FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tristan Bernier fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tristan Bernier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Federico Richard kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for King Bravo to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Sherrelwood AFC's zone, Stewart Blevins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 59th match minute, Sherrelwood AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Lujan to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 0-2 when King Bravo sped through Sherrelwood AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benny Hood. Ernesto Holzer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tristan Bernier went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Marcos Lujan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Tristan Diggs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Marcos Lujan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sherrelwood AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.
