The supporters of New Roads booed when Festus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dustin Maxwell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dexter McCarthy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. William Zaragoza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. William Zaragoza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dexter McCarthy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 played minutes, New Roads's Giuseppe Elliot shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper William Zaragoza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in New Roads reached it. Festus FC's William Zaragoza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Smalls in the 23rd minute of play. Francisco Bowman kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Antony Arden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Festus FC's Dustin Maxwell got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Festus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Smalls came free, but William Zaragoza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Festus FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Wiley Rose hit a great ball. The audience cheered when Francisco Bowman's long shot passed William Zaragoza's right side. It was 0-1, 34 minutes into the match. Jeffrey Hays made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Dustin Maxwell sent off a good shot on target. Antony Arden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jeffrey Hays showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antony Arden in the 45th minute of the match. Jeffrey Hays made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antony Arden in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Dexter McCarthy made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Dustin Maxwell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Festus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dustin Maxwell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeffrey Hays breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 53rd minute, Francisco Bowman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64thth minute of the game Antony Arden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Roads's Jeffrey Hays was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute Dexter McCarthy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Zaragoza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute Dustin Maxwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeffrey Hays saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dustin Maxwell in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeffrey Hays prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Franklin Smalls fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Zaragoza having to interfere. Festus FC's William Zaragoza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dexter McCarthy in the 93rd minute of play. In the 96th match minute, New Roads was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Hinkle to maneuver through the defense. The New Roads players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
