Dustin Maxwell struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Preston Rader didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Festus FC. Lake Sarasota's Preston Rader proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Lake Sarasota from getting a goal against them. Dustin Maxwell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Preston Rader made a huge save. Festus FC's William Zaragoza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heriberto Ewing in the 13th minute of play. William Zaragoza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rich Luther, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Dustin Maxwell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Festus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dustin Maxwell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Preston Rader breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 21 minutes, Lyle Parsons mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lake Sarasota and the Festus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Lake Sarasota got a freekick which was hit by Lyle Parsons. Antony Arden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Preston Rader having to interfere. A collision led to Festus FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Miguel Krause hit a great ball. William Zaragoza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heriberto Ewing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th match minute, Festus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Krause to maneuver through the defense. Rich Luther struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Lake Sarasota's Tanner Zeigler couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Festus FC. William Zaragoza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rich Luther, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, one of Lake Sarasota:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lake Sarasota. In the 41st minute of the game, Festus FC got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. After 44 played minutes Festus FC got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Layton. Festus FC's William Zaragoza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heriberto Ewing in the 48th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antony Arden made a kick off. If Antony Arden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antony Arden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Preston Rader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neil Stone hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Dustin Maxwell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antony Arden in the 69th minute of play forced Lake Sarasota's goalkeeper Preston Rader to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Festus FC booed when Lake Sarasota was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarvis Buchanan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rich Luther came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Lake Sarasota fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rich Luther couldn't finish the play. Rich Luther received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. William Zaragoza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Festus FC's zone, Rich Luther stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Zaragoza came out of the goal and Rich Luther tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Heriberto Ewing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Zaragoza having to interfere. Preston Rader took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antony Arden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Preston Rader stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antony Arden's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lake Sarasota players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Festus FC.
