Winford Nielsen kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Hoffman Estates FC's Kirk Gonzales shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 3rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jordan Simon but with some difficulty. Ferdinand Foley charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferdinand Foley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 12 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Cuba's Winford Nielsen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The throw-in from Vincenzo Keller in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Club Atletico Cuba's Lee Santos. Ferdinand Foley was shown his second yellow card after 20 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Hoffman Estates FC's Ferdinand Foley got a free kick in the 20th minute. When Club Atletico Cuba's Bobby> Saldana in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hoffman Estates FC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 28 minutes, Bobby> Saldana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Cuba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bobby> Saldana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Hoffman Estates FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Vincenzo Keller hit a great ball. Merle Fink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luke Carlson having to interfere. In the 38th minute Bobby> Saldana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luke Carlson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachary Spears in the 41st minute of play forced Hoffman Estates FC's goalkeeper Luke Carlson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Atletico Cuba's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Winford Nielsen in the 43rd minute. Winford Nielsen made a great header on Club Atletico Cuba's corner, it was just that Hoffman Estates FC's Luke Carlson managed to reach the ball for a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benito Clarke to strike the kick off in the second half. Brett Newell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute, Club Atletico Cuba's Zachary Spears dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Zachary Spears fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luke Carlson having to interfere. Glen Medina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Club Atletico Cuba getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Vance Snyder hit a great ball. In the 70th match minute, Club Atletico Cuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vance Snyder to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Hoffman Estates FC's Kirk Gonzales broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 81 played minutes Club Atletico Cuba got a freekick which was hit by Bobby> Saldana. Jordan Simon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernie Dunham in the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Lee Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, Benito Clarke notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Club Atletico Cuba's Jordan Simon. Jordan Simon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jordan Simon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Clarke in the 97th minute of the match.
