Tim Kaiser hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Cuba's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Bravo came free, but Jordan Simon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atletico Cuba's Jordan Simon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Bravo in the 13th minute of play. Jordan Simon came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Weed's Pablo Locke. But to his dismay, Pablo Locke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jordan Simon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Bravo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Bravo in the 35th minute of play forced Club Atletico Cuba's goalkeeper Jordan Simon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Pablo Locke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordan Simon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Leonard Bravo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Weed fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zachary Spears to strike the kick off in the second half. Jordan Simon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Bravo in the 63rd minute of play. Justin Read kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match.
