Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Damon Butler took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Domenic Lester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Rosario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dan McManus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, Claypool's goal looked a bit too open when Damon Butler came free, but Basil Carey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basil Carey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan McManus in the 12th minute. Damon Butler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basil Carey having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damon Butler in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basil Carey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Damon Butler came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Campbell FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damon Butler couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Claypool booed when Campbell FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stewart Coker didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Claypool's Theron Espinoza broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Otis Myrick hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Campbell FC's goal looked a bit too open when Myles Charles came free, but Francesco Rosario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claypool's Basil Carey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damon Butler in the 35th minute of play. Claypool's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Dan McManus scored to the left of an out of position Basil Carey, making the score, 2-0. Francesco Rosario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sanford Jorgensen, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 52nd minute, Dean Travis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dan McManus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Myles Charles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Myles Charles reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Francesco Rosario. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 71st match minute, Campbell FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clark Courtney to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th match minute, Campbell FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dean Travis to maneuver through the defense. Campbell FC's Damon Butler got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Myles Charles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damon Butler in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basil Carey saved Claypool from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damon Butler in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basil Carey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Campbell FC had won after a very even match.
