Del Weathers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Deon Gorman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walker MacWilliams received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute, Korey Hastings hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walker MacWilliams might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerrod Lockhart. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Walker MacWilliams ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Del Weathers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Deon Gorman was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 27thth minute of the game Ethan Blount who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hidalgo FC's Deon Gorman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raymundo Calloway hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. A long shot from Eusebio Hong in the 30th minute of play was well struck, but Jerrod Lockhart made a really good save at the right post. Walker MacWilliams received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Hidalgo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave North Hills the free kick. Johnson Daniels kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Hidalgo FC defense, Del Weathers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Deon Gorman. The Hidalgo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Deon Gorman should have stopped the shot. The Hidalgo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. North Hills were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Walker MacWilliams made a kick off. Jerrod Lockhart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vance Piper in the 56th minute of the match. Walker MacWilliams took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerrod Lockhart. Jerrod Lockhart dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ethan Blount blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Deon Gorman having to make a save. Deon Gorman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Del Weathers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Del Weathers took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Deon Gorman to make any attempt to save it. If Ethan Blount had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marquis Mack hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Jerrod Lockhart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walker MacWilliams, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. A collision led to North Hills getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Joshua Connolly hit a great ball. Vance Piper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Walker MacWilliams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Arthur Chapman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in North Hills's zone, Walker MacWilliams stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerrod Lockhart came out of the goal and Walker MacWilliams tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of North Hills booed when Hidalgo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mervin Ortega didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deon Gorman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Del Weathers in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, North Hills's Del Weathers dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Del Weathers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Deon Gorman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vance Piper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The North Hills players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
