Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Patterson's Josh Hamm started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Luis Novak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Folsom AFC and the Patterson players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Josh Hamm came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Patterson fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josh Hamm couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the game, Patterson's Josh Hamm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonardo Cermak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Wallace Boyles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Cermak having to interfere. Geraldo Tabor kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Leonardo Cermak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Josh Hamm's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Josh Hamm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Cermak having to interfere. Josh Hamm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Leonardo Cermak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Cermak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wallace Boyles in the 26th minute of play. Percy Church received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Malcolm Keyes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josh Hamm in the 32nd minute of play forced Folsom AFC's goalkeeper Leonardo Cermak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Luis Novak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lane Grossman's late challenge caught a Patterson's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lane Grossman helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Folsom AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Patterson:s goal.

After a rather tough play, Patterson's Armando Baird got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Folsom AFC's Leonardo Cermak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Folsom AFC from getting a goal against them. When Percy Church came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Folsom AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Percy Church couldn't finish the play. Malcolm Keyes came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Folsom AFC's Phillip Dawson. But to his dismay, Phillip Dawson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Jordan John charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jordan John the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Folsom AFC booed when Patterson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordan John didn't get a good kick on the ball. Percy Church sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Josh Hamm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clay Parish's late challenge caught a Patterson's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clay Parish helped the player get up and apologised. Clay Parish hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Patterson's goal looked a bit too open when Phillip Dawson came free, but Malcolm Keyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Percy Church received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Malcolm Keyes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Patterson got a freekick which was hit by Josh Hamm. The Patterson supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Patterson would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
