Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Jermaine Pierre came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jermaine Pierre couldn't finish the play. After 6 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Howard. 10 minutes into the match, Danial Blalock dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Basil Wetzel, 1-0. Basil Wetzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cason Ellis, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Gregory Elkins's late challenge caught a Putney FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gregory Elkins helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cason Ellis got free with Basil Wetzel in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Putney FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. A.J. Ivy hit a great ball. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alexis Howard hit a great ball. Basil Wetzel didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 28th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Stanton James sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by A.J. Ivy in the 40th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Basil Wetzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goalkeeper Basil Wetzel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cason Ellis. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Gregory Elkins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregory Elkins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marc Clancy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stanton James to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Racing Club's Stanton James dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. The throw-in from Woody Boudreaux in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Racing Club's Quincy McCabe. Basil Wetzel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danial Blalock in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Howard to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Putney FC's Marc Clancy got control of the ball when Stanton James tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stanton James struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Marc Clancy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club. 80 minutes into the game, Stevie Schroeder threw the ball into play from the sideline. Racing Club's Alexis Howard quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 88th minute, Gregory Elkins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. When Stanton James came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanton James couldn't finish the play. Racing Club's Gregory Elkins got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Racing Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
