The audience thought a goal was coming when Danial Blalock got free with Wiley English in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonardo Hendricks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Clancy having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Rapid City FC's Leonardo Hendricks sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marc Clancy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Rapid City FC's Leonardo Hendricks in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rapid City FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Dean Aguilar scored to the left of an out of position Wiley English, making the score, 1-0. Marc Clancy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Hendricks in the 35th minute of play. If Filiberto Copeland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rapid City FC's Leonardo Hendricks in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Putney FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Danial Blalock came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Putney FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danial Blalock couldn't finish the play.

Dean Aguilar struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Wiley English didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Putney FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Dean Aguilar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Putney FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dean Aguilar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wiley English breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonardo Hendricks struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Marc Clancy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rapid City FC. Ivy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Danial Blalock came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Putney FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danial Blalock couldn't finish the play. Filiberto Copeland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rapid City FC's Leonardo Hendricks got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Cason Barney managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rapid City FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cason Barney was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marc Clancy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
