Cory Acevedo started the match with the kick off. Hugh Warren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Terrell Hendricks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 minutes, Otis Murillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sturgeon Bay FC and the San Andreas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of San Andreas AFC booed when Sturgeon Bay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otis Murillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Ezra Suggs sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brad Driver skillfully saved the ball. In the 12thth minute of the game Dustin Case who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sturgeon Bay FC's Brad Driver was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 19 played minutes San Andreas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Olin Bean. A collision led to San Andreas AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Olin Bean hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Tory McKnight sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and San Andreas AFC's Terrell Hendricks didn't even have to move. Dustin Case struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Brad Driver didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Andreas AFC. Terrell Hendricks stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugh Warren's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. A collision led to Sturgeon Bay FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Walter Farris hit a great ball. Brad Driver stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dustin Case's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Sturgeon Bay FC's Otis Murillo got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After 46 minutes, Hal Pack mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sturgeon Bay FC and the San Andreas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes Sturgeon Bay FC got a freekick which was hit by Hal Pack. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cory Acevedo in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brad Driver prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Ronald Chandler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 53 played minutes San Andreas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Russ Mathews. If Hugh Warren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 played minutes Sturgeon Bay FC got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo Cedillo. In the 60th minute, Cory Acevedo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Brad Driver, passed just outside the right post. During the 63rd minute of the match Otis Murillo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Otis Murillo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Sturgeon Bay FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Otis Murillo hit a great ball. In the 68thth minute of the game Ronald Chandler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Andreas AFC's Terrell Hendricks was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of San Andreas AFC booed when Sturgeon Bay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tory McKnight didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronald Chandler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Terrell Hendricks having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Sturgeon Bay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cory Acevedo came free, but Brad Driver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute Cory Acevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brad Driver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The San Andreas AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing San Andreas AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
