Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jake Reaves started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ben Rossi during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Laughlin booed when West Palm Beach FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sterling Roark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Ben Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Shannon Groves successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 17 minutes into the game, Duncan Groves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. West Palm Beach FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laughlin the free kick. In the 18th minute, Dudley Dean left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laughlin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Shannon Groves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damon Hickey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ben Rossi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 29 minutes had been played. Shannon Groves came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Laughlin's Johnson Cullen. But to his dismay, Johnson Cullen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Shannon Groves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damon Hickey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Sterling Roark managed to get in a good position for a shot. West Palm Beach FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sterling Roark was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Keene breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Colin Duncan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laughlin's supporters rose to their feet, but Colin Duncan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shannon Groves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, Duncan Groves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the match, West Palm Beach FC's goal looked a bit too open when Colin Duncan came free, but Shannon Groves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Colin Duncan was the one to do the kick off. Colin Duncan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Shannon Groves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute Colin Duncan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shannon Groves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Colin Duncan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Blake Mendez in the 58th minute really tested Noel Keene's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Colin Duncan in the 62nd minute of play forced West Palm Beach FC's goalkeeper Shannon Groves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Colin Duncan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. West Palm Beach FC's Shannon Groves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Colin Duncan in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, West Palm Beach FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damon Hickey came free, but Shannon Groves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Heriberto Harmon in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Laughlin's Damon Hickey. A collision led to West Palm Beach FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Sterling Roark hit a great ball. Colin Duncan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Shannon Groves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Laughlin fully deserved thier win.
