Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Laughlin's Colin Duncan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Eaton Rapids was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reuben Dalton to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Colin Duncan in the 9th minute of play forced Eaton Rapids's goalkeeper Travis Kenney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes Eaton Rapids got a freekick which was hit by Mason Kurtz. In the 13th minute, Mason Kurtz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the game, Bob Askew was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eaton Rapids's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laughlin the free kick. Bob Askew hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Eaton Rapids's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Oren Bush 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. If Colin Duncan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Travis Kenney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Colin Duncan, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd match minute, Laughlin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damon Hickey to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute of the match Alberto Vincent shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Noel Keene showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Laughlin's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Askew came free, but Noel Keene reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damon Hickey in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Travis Kenney prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Colin Duncan succeeded in the game's 42nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. If Colin Duncan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Travis Kenney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Colin Duncan, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Colin Duncan struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Travis Kenney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laughlin. Wallace Sewell charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wallace Sewell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes Laughlin got a freekick which was hit by Wallace Sewell. 61 minutes into the match, Alberto Vincent dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Noel Keene, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Colin Duncan in the 67th minute of play forced Eaton Rapids's goalkeeper Travis Kenney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Laughlin's Noel Keene got control of the ball when Esteban Rector tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reuben Dalton during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Travis Kenney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Colin Duncan in the 79th minute of play. Mason Kurtz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Keene having to interfere. A collision led to Eaton Rapids getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Bob Askew hit a great ball. When Dudley Dean fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laughlin's protests and gave Dudley Dean a yellow card for diving instead. Dudley Dean hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Noel Keene acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 99th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ronnie Cao Xiao. Laughlin's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
