Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Desmond Mueller took the kick off in the first half of the match. Desmond Mueller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duncan Miner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. If Terrence Calloway had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Port Carbon FC's Cedric Puckett came free and shot a quick shot against goal 11 minutes in the game, fortunately George Haney had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rossville's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frank Palmer was slow to take the kick. During this time Port Carbon FC's players had a chance to rest. Port Carbon FC's Frank Palmer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but George Haney in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 13 played minutes Rossville got a freekick which was hit by Rudolph Dunham. In the 16th minute, Port Carbon FC's Terrence Calloway ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind George Haney. George Haney yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. George Haney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terrence Calloway, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Desmond Mueller scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Duncan Miner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rudolph Dunham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desmond Mueller in the 31st minute of play forced Port Carbon FC's goalkeeper Duncan Miner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duncan Miner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desmond Mueller, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Port Carbon FC's goalkeeper Duncan Miner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Markus Hester charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Markus Hester the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Duncan Miner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Goddard in the 43rd minute of the match. Port Carbon FC's Terrence Calloway got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Duncan Miner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desmond Mueller in the 52nd minute of play. Markus Hester hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Rudolph Dunham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Duncan Miner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rossville's George Haney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cedric Puckett in the 66th minute of play. George Haney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terrence Calloway, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After having played for 80 minutes, Terrence Calloway managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Port Carbon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Terrence Calloway was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terrence Calloway in the 83rd minute of play forced Rossville's goalkeeper George Haney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 played minutes Port Carbon FC got a freekick which was hit by Randolph Meyer. Alex Goddard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Duncan Miner made a huge save. After 89 minutes of play Port Carbon FC's Markus Hester was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Port Carbon FC's Markus Hester got a free kick in the 90th minute. When Frank Palmer fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Port Carbon FC's protests and gave Frank Palmer a yellow card for diving instead. If Desmond Mueller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
