Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Rickey Crosby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute Gilbert Blanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rufus Gunn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Emery Stern got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Del Macias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josh Arnold in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute Josh Arnold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Del Macias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Josh Arnold in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Del Macias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Josh Arnold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Del Macias having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Skyline View got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Maher. Skyline View's Del Macias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Skyline View from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the game, Josh Arnold recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Del Macias. Josh Arnold showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Willie Solomon kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. If Moses Feldman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Skyline View getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Mitch Merritt hit a great ball. Del Macias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josh Arnold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilbert Blanton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willie Solomon during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Skyline View getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Willie Solomon hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Josh Arnold notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Skyline View's Del Macias. Del Macias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josh Arnold in the 65th minute of play forced Skyline View's goalkeeper Del Macias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Willie Solomon kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Skyline View fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Gilbert Blanton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skyline View's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilbert Blanton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rufus Gunn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 79 minutes, Mitch Merritt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skyline View and the Montevallo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mitch Merritt hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute Moses Feldman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Del Macias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute of the match Donald Honeycutt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rufus Gunn skillfully saved the ball. When Montevallo AFC's Moses Feldman in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skyline View's goalie prevented a goal. Del Macias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josh Arnold in the 89th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Josh Arnold's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Del Macias was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Montevallo AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
