After 7 played minutes Skippack got a freekick which was hit by Reginald Ivey. Erik Medeiros was extremely unlucky when he, in the 11th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 11 minutes into the game, Skippack's Tyrell Abel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dudley Castle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Oren Kimble fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Neillsville's protests and gave Oren Kimble a yellow card for diving instead. Oren Kimble kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Tyrell Abel notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Neillsville's Dudley Castle. Dudley Castle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erik Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Dudley Castle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steve Cummins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendon Means, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The supporters of Skippack booed when Neillsville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oren Kimble didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Brendon Means managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neillsville's supporters rose to their feet, but Brendon Means was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Steve Cummins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 41 in the game by Tyrell Abel from a close distance when the talented Dudley Castle managed to make a qualified save. Neillsville's players were relieved. Frankie Tripp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erik Medeiros to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Oren Kimble left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Neillsville fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a rather tough play, Skippack's Lazaro Dickens got a free kick in the 59th minute. Dudley Castle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luther Freeman, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Luther Freeman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 67th minute Brendon Means shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve Cummins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neillsville's Dudley Castle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Medeiros in the 70th minute of play. During the 71st minute of the match Oren Kimble completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Oren Kimble a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Oren Kimble kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Medeiros in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dudley Castle saved Neillsville from getting behind. Tyrell Abel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Brendon Means managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neillsville's supporters rose to their feet, but Brendon Means was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Steve Cummins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frankie Tripp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Steve Cummins when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Douglas Cardenas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Skippack support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
