Quinn Pierson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quinn Pierson got free with Christian Sorenson in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute, Richie Barth made a precise shot to the right of Christian Sorenson. Real SoCal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Reserve Township AFC's Frankie McCollum got a free kick in the 18th minute. Quinn Pierson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Christian Sorenson made a huge save. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Ronnie Cesario sped through Reserve Township AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Virgilio Phelps. When Real SoCal's Ronnie Cesario in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Reserve Township AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Reserve Township AFC's Virgilio Phelps played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clint Mason in the 36th minute of play. Quinn Pierson took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Sorenson. Christian Sorenson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronnie Cesario in the 40th minute of play forced Reserve Township AFC's goalkeeper Virgilio Phelps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Manuel Rasmussen fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real SoCal's protests and gave Manuel Rasmussen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd match minute, Real SoCal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Rasmussen to maneuver through the defense. Cody Lin kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ronnie Cesario made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Real SoCal's goalkeeper Christian Sorenson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Real SoCal's Christian Sorenson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richie Barth in the 53rd minute of play. Clint Mason came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Virgilio Phelps could save by the left post. Clint Mason in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Virgilio Phelps, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Quinn Pierson might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Sorenson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Quinn Pierson ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Reserve Township AFC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. German Russ hit a great ball. Ronny Kessler took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Virgilio Phelps. Reserve Township AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Quinn Pierson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Christian Sorenson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 68 minutes, Richie Barth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reserve Township AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richie Barth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74thth minute of the game Richie Barth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real SoCal's Christian Sorenson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 76 played minutes Real SoCal got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Kinsey. Ronnie Cesario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clint Mason's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Virgilio Phelps skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Virgilio Phelps was a little too slow when Ronnie Cesario got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 86th minute, Quinn Pierson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Sorenson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richie Barth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Sorenson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richie Barth in the 95th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
