German Russ charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed German Russ the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. German Russ kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, one of Reserve Township AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Reserve Township AFC. Virgilio Phelps went to the wrong direction when Foster Ali was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Christian Adams received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Virgilio Phelps tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. German Russ hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Quintin Odom hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richie Barth in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giuseppe McAlpin saved Metasoccer from getting behind. In the 34th match minute, Metasoccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sherman Sellers to maneuver through the defense. Brendan Cooper kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Giuseppe McAlpin made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Quinn Pierson sent off a good shot on target. Waylon Walker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Phelps read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Metasoccer were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Virgilio Phelps made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Waylon Walker sent off a good shot on target. German Russ recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christian Adams struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Richie Barth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Waylon Walker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Reserve Township AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Metasoccer were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
