Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rhett Agostino made a kick off. Ronnie Cesario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Tidwell having to interfere. Robert Dennis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Saul Tidwell. Wafflemen FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ronnie Cesario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saul Tidwell was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Real SoCal played a much better game than Wafflemen FC and deserved their victory. The Wafflemen FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
