Bennett Reynolds showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachariah Posey in the 9th minute of the match. A collision led to Sporting Miami getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Russell Maloney hit a great ball. When Zachariah Posey fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Springfield's protests and gave Zachariah Posey a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 14 minutes, Ethan Major managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Miami's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ethan Major was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, North Springfield's goalkeeper Samuel Ruth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ethan Major. In the 30th minute, Ethan Major got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. North Springfield's Kris Bennett got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zachariah Posey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ethan Major's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Samuel Ruth skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ethan Major sped through North Springfield's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Samuel Ruth. Bennett Reynolds took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kris Bennett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the game, Zachariah Posey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Bennett Reynolds was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ethan Major stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bennett Reynolds made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachariah Posey in the 53rd minute of play. Bennett Reynolds took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachariah Posey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachariah Posey in the 57th minute of play forced Sporting Miami's goalkeeper Bennett Reynolds to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 played minutes Zachariah Posey rounded Sporting Miami's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2.
