Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) North Springfield's Zachariah Posey started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Adam Guevara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 5 minutes into the match, Taylor Mill's Sydney Marion sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Ruth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When North Springfield's Zachariah Posey in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Taylor Mill's goalie prevented a goal. Zachariah Posey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Denver Hahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilber Darden charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilber Darden the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wilber Darden hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Kris Bennett scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Denver Hahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Samuel Ruth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney Marion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to North Springfield getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Kris Bennett hit a great ball. Denver Hahn came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by North Springfield's Kris Bennett. But to his dismay, Kris Bennett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Alfredo Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Denver Hahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denver Hahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachariah Posey in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Benedict Hickey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Kris Bennett left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The North Springfield fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The Taylor Mill players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. North Springfield were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sydney Marion stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes, North Springfield's Josiah Courtney shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Denver Hahn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in North Springfield reached it. After having played for 63 minutes, Zachariah Posey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Springfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zachariah Posey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Taylor Mill's Denver Hahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Taylor Mill from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, Zachariah Posey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denver Hahn. Taylor Mill's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zachariah Posey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Sydney Marion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Ruth having to interfere. Zachariah Posey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denver Hahn having to interfere. If Kris Bennett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Taylor Mill fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. North Springfield were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
