Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mohammed Wiley started the match with the kick off. In the 4thth minute of the game Weston French who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Egypt Lake's Stevie Evans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mohammed Wiley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrew Goode made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kirk Caudill in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, Egypt Lake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Hilliard to maneuver through the defense. Kirk Caudill's late challenge caught a West Side Highway's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kirk Caudill helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Egypt Lake's Kirk Caudill got a free kick in the 12th minute. Weston French sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, West Side Highway's Andrew Goode got control of the ball when Kirk Caudill tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute, DeMarcus Brantley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Wilford Wetzel came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the West Side Highway fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilford Wetzel couldn't finish the play. Andrew Goode made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Wesley Summers sent off a good shot on target. Andrew Goode was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Santo Hilliard showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Egypt Lake's Kirk Caudill got his second yellow card of the match in the 41st minute. The referee ordered Kirk Caudill off the ground. After 42 played minutes Egypt Lake got a freekick which was hit by Kirk Caudill. Mohammed Wiley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stevie Evans didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when West Side Highway's Weston French shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wesley Summers was the one to do the kick off. Wesley Summers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hank Medina kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes Egypt Lake got a freekick which was hit by Hank Medina. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Ponce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stevie Evans was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. In the 76th minute Robert McDermott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrew Goode saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 79 minutes, Wesley Summers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Egypt Lake's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wesley Summers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stevie Evans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohammed Wiley, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The West Side Highway supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing West Side Highway would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
