In the 9th minute, Tyrese Hebert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Donny Tharp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Akatsuki FC's Teodoro Reese proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Akatsuki FC from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute Akatsuki FC were awarded a corner. D.J. Eastman went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that D.J. Eastman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sydney Aldrich quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Douglas Pugh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sydney Aldrich having to make a save. Francesco Sheppard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Sydney Aldrich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Douglas Pugh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Connor Barnett hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 41 played minutes, Akatsuki FC's Russ Cuevas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sydney Aldrich came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Akatsuki FC reached it. Sydney Aldrich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Pugh in the 41st minute of the match. After 42nd play minutes Francesco Sheppard shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Sydney Aldrich and just under the crossbar into goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donny Tharp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Juve 17 got a freekick which was hit by Connor Barnett. Douglas Pughs short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Sydney Aldrich to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Francesco Sheppard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Juve 17's Sydney Aldrich got control of the ball when Douglas Pugh tried to sneak it across the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Akatsuki FC's Douglas Pugh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sydney Aldrich narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Douglas Pugh took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sydney Aldrich. Sydney Aldrich dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Francesco Sheppard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Aldrich having to interfere. Teodoro Reese took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Santiago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sydney Aldrich made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas Pugh in the 86th minute. Francesco Sheppard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Aldrich having to interfere. Francesco Sheppard struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Sydney Aldrich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Akatsuki FC. If Douglas Pugh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglas Pugh's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Sydney Aldrich skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 96 minutes, Francesco Sheppard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Akatsuki FC and the Juve 17 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Juve 17 booed when Akatsuki FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco Sheppard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Akatsuki FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
