The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Titus Rodriquez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Evan Daniels when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Titus Rodriquez came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Hollis FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Titus Rodriquez couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Omar Hanley during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cole Hilton, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Titus Rodriquez in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Evan Daniels, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Toto:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hollis FC:s goal. Cole Hilton walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Titus Rodriquez got free with Evan Daniels in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute, Titus Rodriquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 31 in the game by Titus Rodriquez from a close distance when the talented Evan Daniels managed to make a qualified save. Toto's players were relieved. Titus Rodriquezs short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Evan Daniels to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Titus Rodriquez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Evan Daniels skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Titus Rodriquez in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evan Daniels saved Toto from getting behind. Hollis FC's Titus Rodriquez got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Titus Rodriquez made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 43rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Evan Daniels would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After 44 minutes, Pedro Patel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toto and the Hollis FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pedro Patel kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Toto's Evan Daniels proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Toto from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Octavio Bass to strike the kick off in the second half. Simon Meier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Patel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Fred Bernal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Titus Rodriquez in the 60th minute of play forced Toto's goalkeeper Evan Daniels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Titus Rodriquez in the 78th minute of play forced Toto's goalkeeper Evan Daniels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evan Daniels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Bernal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evan Daniels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Titus Rodriquez in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Titus Rodriquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Toto booed when Hollis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francis Crenshaw didn't get a good kick on the ball.
