Steeleville AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Young Fletcher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rhett Leslie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Woodcrest AFC's Emilio Zepeda got a free kick in the 5th minute. Arturo Negron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Negron who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Christopher Ortiz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Woodcrest AFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Winford Bentley hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Nicholas Winter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rhett Leslie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the match, Woodcrest AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicholas Winter came free, but Rhett Leslie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rhett Leslie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Young Fletcher in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Emilio Zepeda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Woodcrest AFC's zone, Nicholas Winter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rhett Leslie came out of the goal and Nicholas Winter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Steeleville AFC booed when Woodcrest AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Newcomb didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rhett Leslie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicholas Winter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christopher Ortiz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Scottie Ybarra. Steeleville AFC's Christopher Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quinn Woodruff in the 30th minute of play. After 34 played minutes Steeleville AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ward Castaneda. In the 35th minute, Steeleville AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arturo Negron fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Young Fletcher in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rhett Leslie saved Woodcrest AFC from getting behind. Arturo Negron struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Christopher Ortiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Woodcrest AFC. Arturo Negron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Quinn Woodruff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Quinn Woodruff made a kick off. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Steeleville AFC's goalkeeper Christopher Ortiz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arturo Negron struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Christopher Ortiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Woodcrest AFC. With a little luck, Woodcrest AFC's Rhett Leslie got control of the ball when Young Fletcher tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Nicholas Winter came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Steeleville AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicholas Winter couldn't finish the play. Rhett Leslie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicholas Winter, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Woodcrest AFC's Arturo Negron got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th match minute, Woodcrest AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinand Newcomb to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Arturo Negron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Burris during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Steeleville AFC's Alfredo Burris got a free kick in the 90th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Woodcrest AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicholas Winter came free, but Rhett Leslie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
