After a defensive mix-up in Boaz's zone, Glen Hopper stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tyron Montoya came out of the goal and Glen Hopper tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerrod Norman in the 15th minute of play forced Hammonton FC's goalkeeper Jeffrey Erickson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Jerrod Norman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jeffrey Erickson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeffrey Erickson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerrod Norman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Jerrod Norman notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Hammonton FC's Jeffrey Erickson. Jeffrey Erickson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hayden Kidd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Tyron Montoya made a huge save. Devon Berg hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Lucien Turner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tyron Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billy Goins kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerrod Norman in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeffrey Erickson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jerrod Norman struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Jeffrey Erickson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boaz. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerrod Norman was the one to do the kick off. When Sylvester Reid fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hammonton FC's protests and gave Sylvester Reid a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Boaz booed when Hammonton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylvester Reid didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeffrey Erickson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerrod Norman in the 52nd minute of the match. Tyron Montoya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascal Le Van in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th match minute, Hammonton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jasper Jarrett to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Darnell Drake from long distance, 58 minutes into the match, got Jeffrey Erickson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Glen Hopper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 64th play minutes Jerrod Norman shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Jeffrey Erickson and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 68th minute, Glen Hopper left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hammonton FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvin Barr in the 71st minute of play forced Boaz's goalkeeper Tyron Montoya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pascal Le Van's late challenge caught a Boaz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascal Le Van helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Boaz booed when Hammonton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascal Le Van didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerrod Norman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeffrey Erickson having to interfere. If Billy Goins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerrod Norman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Jeffrey Erickson made a huge save. The Hammonton FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Boaz were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
