Wayne Cash recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ervin Callahan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeffrey Erickson having to make a save. When Alvin Barr fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hammonton FC's protests and gave Alvin Barr a yellow card for diving instead. Jeffrey Erickson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wayne Cash in the 36th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ervin Callahan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ervin Callahan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hayden Kidd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hayden Kidd struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Jessie Waters didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hammonton FC. After 68 played minutes Hammonton FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvin Barr. In the 74th minute, Hammonton FC's Sylvester Reid seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sylvester Reid the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hammonton FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sylvester Reid had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hammonton FC! In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Chambersburg. Manuel Montano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jeffrey Erickson. 1-0. Hayden Kidd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Hammonton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ervin Callahan came free, but Jeffrey Erickson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Hammonton FC defense, Wayne Cash kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeffrey Erickson. The Hammonton FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeffrey Erickson should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute, Hayden Kidd made a precise shot to the right of Jessie Waters. Chambersburg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 98th minute Sung Blanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeffrey Erickson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
