Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) With an all-out effort, Hammonton FC's Eldon Zeigler threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Glen Hopper, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Odell McConnell fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goblin Ski Patrol's protests and gave Odell McConnell a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Goblin Ski Patrol's Odell McConnell got a free kick in the 18th minute. Eldon Zeigler made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Hayden Kidd sent off a good shot on target. Hayden Kidd's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eldon Zeigler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Jonathan Holbrook notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Hammonton FC's Jeffrey Erickson. Jeffrey Erickson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glen Hopper in the 35th minute of play forced Goblin Ski Patrol's goalkeeper Eldon Zeigler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Hammonton FC's Glen Hopper got a free kick in the 36th minute. Hayden Kidd came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eldon Zeigler could save by the left post. Eldon Zeigler made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Hayden Kidd sent off a good shot on target. Goblin Ski Patrol's Eldon Zeigler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glen Hopper in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Goblin Ski Patrol's Odell McConnell got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half Goblin Ski Patrol were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Glen Hopper to strike the kick off in the second half. Eldon Zeigler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glen Hopper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hayden Kidd during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hayden Kidd hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, Jonathan Holbrook got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Hammonton FC's Pascal Le Van sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eldon Zeigler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 62 minutes, Dominic Newell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goblin Ski Patrol and the Hammonton FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes Goblin Ski Patrol got a freekick which was hit by Dominic Newell. 68 minutes into the match, Goblin Ski Patrol's goal looked a bit too open when Alvin Barr came free, but Eldon Zeigler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeffrey Erickson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Holbrook in the 71st minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Art Urmanski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goblin Ski Patrol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Art Urmanski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hayden Kidd might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eldon Zeigler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hayden Kidd ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Glen Hopper's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eldon Zeigler was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. If Glen Hopper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Hammonton FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Oren Burton hit a great ball. In the 89th minute of the match, Jonathan Holbrook got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jeffrey Erickson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Glen Hopper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute Hayden Kidd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eldon Zeigler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
