Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) J.C. Denne made the kick off and thus started the match. J.C. Denne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. J.C. Denne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tyler Bouchard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Dawson having to interfere. Stuart Guzman charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stuart Guzman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Day Heights FC's Stuart Guzman got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 20th minute, Tyler Bouchard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Dawson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 25thth minute of the game A.J. Adkins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Granville AFC's Hugo Dawson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kelly Brandon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from J.C. Denne, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Hugo Dawson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garrett Munson in the 36th minute of play. After some careless play in the Day Heights FC defense, J.C. Denne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kelly Brandon. The Day Heights FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kelly Brandon should have stopped the shot. Granville AFC's Bernie Kenney managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Reginald Banks in the 47 minute of the game. After 48 minutes, Mohammad Pujols mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Day Heights FC and the Granville AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Granville AFC booed when Day Heights FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohammad Pujols didn't get a good kick on the ball. 49 minutes into the match, J.C. Denne notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Day Heights FC's Kelly Brandon. Kelly Brandon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Granville AFC were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell A.J. Adkins to make the kick off. In the 59th minute, Day Heights FC's Damon Travis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Damon Travis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Day Heights FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Damon Travis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 59 minutes into the game, one of Day Heights FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thanks to some nice moves J.C. Denne could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Kelly Brandon however easily saved by the left post. Kelly Brandon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Woody Hickey, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Hugo Dawson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garrett Munson in the 67th minute of the match. With a little luck, Day Heights FC's Kelly Brandon got control of the ball when J.C. Denne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tyler Bouchard took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Dawson. Hugo Dawson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. In the 94th minute, Bernie Kenney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes into the match, Day Heights FC's goal looked a bit too open when Woody Hickey came free, but Kelly Brandon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when J.C. Denne got free with Kelly Brandon in the 101st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kelly Brandon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Woody Hickey in the 101st minute of the match. The Granville AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Granville AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
