Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vernon Echols got the match started through his kick off. Steel City SC's Cliff Countess got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Steel City SC's zone, Seth Madden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dave Sito came out of the goal and Seth Madden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seth Madden in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dave Sito saved Steel City SC from getting behind. When Vernon Echols came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the RedArmyFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vernon Echols couldn't finish the play. RedArmyFC's David Chan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cliff Countess in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Cliff Countess got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Steel City SC's Cliff Countess sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Chan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cliff Countess fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Chan having to interfere. Cliff Countess received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. David Chan came out and tried to block the shot, but Cliff Countess slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 40th minute. 47 minutes into the match, RedArmyFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cliff Countess came free, but David Chan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Jarrett Singleton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Steel City SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarrett Singleton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Chan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cliff Countess had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seth Madden struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Dave Sito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RedArmyFC. Jarrett Singleton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. David Chan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Cliff Countess managed to get in a good position for a shot. Steel City SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cliff Countess was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Chan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 67 minutes, Cliff Countess managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Steel City SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cliff Countess was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Curt Isaac during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to RedArmyFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Curt Isaac hit a great ball. Steel City SC's Frank Busby couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for RedArmyFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cliff Countess in the 74th minute of play forced RedArmyFC's goalkeeper David Chan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Steel City SC's Tracey Childs got a free kick in the 78th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leon Gonzales during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Steel City SC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Leon Gonzales hit a great ball. When Jarrett Singleton came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Steel City SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarrett Singleton couldn't finish the play. Jarrett Singleton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
