Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sal Amos took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Ted Tinsley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Wilfred Barker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 11th minute, Milo Zaragoza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute Monty Hurd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Dickerson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Sal Amos took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Bob Martinez to make any attempt to save it. In the 21st minute of the match Tory Poole shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bob Martinez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Sal Amos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cushing AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sal Amos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilfred Barker hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When Cushing AFC's Sal Amos in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hunters Creek Village AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rd minute, Ted Tinsley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hunters Creek Village AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Sal Amos scored to the left of an out of position Bob Martinez, making the score, 2-0. After 37 played minutes Cushing AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sal Amos. Ted Tinsley came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bob Martinez could save by the left post. If Monty Hurd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 44 minutes into the match, Hunters Creek Village AFC's goalkeeper Bob Martinez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ted Tinsley. In the 45th minute, Ted Tinsley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bob Martinez was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leon Ward was the one to do the kick off. Ted Tinsley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Bob Martinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute Cushing AFC were awarded a corner. Guy Noble went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Cushing AFC's Sergio Bender to fire away a dangerous shot which Bob Martinez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 59th minute Ted Tinsley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bob Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Wilfred Barker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hunters Creek Village AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cushing AFC the free kick. In the 66th minute, Wilfred Barker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 67 played minutes, Cushing AFC's Guy Noble shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bob Martinez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cushing AFC reached it. Bob Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted Tinsley in the 72nd minute of the match. Bob Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sal Amos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon Ward got free with Wilfredo Dickerson in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leon Ward fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Dickerson having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Luther Begay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Sal Amos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cushing AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sal Amos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bob Martinez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sal Amos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tory Poole kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cushing AFC's zone, Pete Crenshaw stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfredo Dickerson came out of the goal and Pete Crenshaw tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cushing AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
