Scottie Houser started the match with the kick off. Noah Turner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolph Curran having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Polson's Colin Kruse got a free kick in the 11th minute. When Scottie Houser came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Denver City AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Scottie Houser couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Denver City AFC's Dexter McBride got a free kick in the 14th minute. Brice Fair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ronny Hairston came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Denver City AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronny Hairston couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Denver City AFC's Ronny Hairston fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Marquis Darling kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Scottie Houser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denver City AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Scottie Houser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sheldon Fontenot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronny Hairston's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Noah Turner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Rudolph Curran made a huge save. Leonardo Godwin's late challenge caught a Polson's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonardo Godwin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Denver City AFC's Leonardo Godwin got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The wind increased when Leroy Akers made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Leroy Akers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rudolph Curran was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 57 minutes into the game, Scottie Houser recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sheldon Fontenot. Scottie Houser showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 61st minute, Ronny Hairston left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denver City AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Ronny Hairston struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Sheldon Fontenot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denver City AFC. Sheldon Fontenot made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Ronny Hairston sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute, Leroy Akers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Leroy Akers came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Polson fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leroy Akers couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the game, Dexter McBride was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Denver City AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Polson the free kick. A collision led to Denver City AFC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Dexter McBride hit a great ball. When Timmy Christian fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polson's protests and gave Timmy Christian a yellow card for diving instead. Polson's Sheldon Fontenot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scottie Houser in the 85th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Walter Alvarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Denver City AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
