Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Canfield's Trinidad Velasquez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tyler Gaines got free with Zackary Veltman in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brett Buddle's late challenge caught a Canfield's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brett Buddle helped the player get up and apologised. Brett Buddle hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Wilmer Gant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 16 minutes, Alfred Dudley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NGA Verona and the Canfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in NGA Verona fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Canfield. Willard Talbot stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zackary Veltman. 1-0. When Jessie Countess came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the NGA Verona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jessie Countess couldn't finish the play. Wilmer Gant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zackary Veltman was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Victor Keys capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victor Keys really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. With his leg Zackary Veltman managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Canfield's Tyler Gaines fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Wilmer Gant's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Winston Dumas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, NGA Verona's Brett Buddle got a free kick in the 38th minute. After some careless play in the NGA Verona defense, Tyler Gaines kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zackary Veltman. The NGA Verona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zackary Veltman should have stopped the shot.

Tyler Gaines might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zackary Veltman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tyler Gaines ran back to his position shaking his head. NGA Verona's Zackary Veltman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trinidad Velasquez in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Victor Keys was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canfield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NGA Verona the free kick. A collision led to Canfield getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Victor Keys hit a great ball. After 59 minutes, Stacy Amos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NGA Verona and the Canfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61stth minute of the game Tyler Gaines who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NGA Verona's Zackary Veltman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Trinidad Velasquez scored 4-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zackary Veltman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. NGA Verona's Zackary Veltman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tyler Gaines in the 67th minute of play. Jessie Countess succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-1 in the 70th playminute. In the 73rd minute, Jessie Countess ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Winston Dumas was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. After having played for 78 minutes, Jessie Countess managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NGA Verona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jessie Countess was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Jessie Countess managed to get in a good position for a shot. NGA Verona's supporters rose to their feet, but Jessie Countess was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Winston Dumas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cole MacFarland hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Canfield's Willard Talbot took a good shot, in the 88th minute, which hit the crossbar above Zackary Veltman's head, and flew over the goal. NGA Verona's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Canfield. Canfield's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
