Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rene McNamara started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rene McNamara in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brian Holliday prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roosevelt Kendrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Brian Holliday tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Dario Valentine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in El Jebel's zone, Roosevelt Kendrick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brian Holliday came out of the goal and Roosevelt Kendrick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adam Osborn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brian Holliday having to make a save. In the 14th match minute, Holden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brent Carlisle to maneuver through the defense. If Rene McNamara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Jebel's goalkeeper Brian Holliday, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brant Combs made a great header on Holden's corner, it was just that El Jebel's Brian Holliday managed to reach the ball for a save. 32 minutes into the match, Hugh Clark notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Holden's Dominique Rutledge. Dominique Rutledge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Rene McNamara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of El Jebel booed when Holden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Barnard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Floyd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Dominique Rutledge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Floyd's late challenge caught a Holden's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Floyd helped the player get up and apologised. Emanuel Floyd hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Rashad McKay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roosevelt Kendrick got free with Brian Holliday in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Floyd to make the kick off. Roosevelt Kendrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Brian Holliday tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in El Jebel's zone, Roosevelt Kendrick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brian Holliday came out of the goal and Roosevelt Kendrick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roosevelt Kendrick in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brian Holliday saved El Jebel from getting behind. If Rene McNamara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roosevelt Kendrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Brian Holliday tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Holden's Roosevelt Kendrick sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brian Holliday narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Rene McNamara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holden's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene McNamara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brian Holliday breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd minute Roosevelt Kendrick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Holliday saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brant Combs kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. A collision led to Holden getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Adam Osborn hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Holden were the better team. Holden's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
