Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emanuel Floyd started the match with the kick off. Brian Holliday acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 9th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tyrone Mohr. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Jerrod Peters got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 21st minute Emanuel Floyd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Richey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Miami Heat FC's zone, Hugh Clark stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jon Richey came out of the goal and Hugh Clark tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jon Richey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Floyd's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Hugh Clark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jon Richey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Floyd in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jon Richey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Dario Valentine fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Jebel's protests and gave Dario Valentine a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to El Jebel getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Dario Valentine hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Miami Heat FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugh Clark came free, but Jon Richey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jon Richey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugh Clark in the 38th minute of play. Jon Richey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Floyd in the 39th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Emanuel Floyd had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jon Richey. Miami Heat FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Floyd was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alonso Ivy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alec Roth hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Brian Holliday made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonso Ivy in the 55th minute of play. Tyrone Mohr charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tyrone Mohr the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 65 minutes into the game, Kristopher Love was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Jebel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Miami Heat FC the free kick. Kristopher Love hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Brian Holliday came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Miami Heat FC's Alonso Ivy. But to his dismay, Alonso Ivy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 70th minute, Miami Heat FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emanuel Floyd fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 73 minutes into the match, Miami Heat FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Floyd came free, but Jon Richey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in El Jebel's zone, Jerrod Peters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brian Holliday came out of the goal and Jerrod Peters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jon Richey didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Floyd in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jon Richey saved Miami Heat FC from getting behind. Jon Richey made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Hugh Clark sent off a good shot on target. When Emanuel Floyd came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the El Jebel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Floyd couldn't finish the play.
