Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ezra Holbrook took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Carlo Ivey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paterson's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlo Ivey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ward Kruse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8thth minute of the game Dustin Shaver who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paterson's Danial Denton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ezra Holbrook sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Warrensville Heights's Ward Kruse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lewis Daniel in the 14th minute of play. When Marcos Barrera fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Warrensville Heights's protests and gave Marcos Barrera a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Warrensville Heights's Marcos Barrera got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute Lewis Daniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ward Kruse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Warrensville Heights was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Graig Swift to maneuver through the defense. Ward Kruse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlo Ivey in the 24th minute. The supporters of Warrensville Heights booed when Paterson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miles Cowan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Ezra Holbrook's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danial Denton was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 42nd minute, Carlo Ivey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Lewis Daniel came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Paterson fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lewis Daniel couldn't finish the play. After the first half Warrensville Heights were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lewis Daniel made a kick off. When Ezra Holbrook came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Warrensville Heights fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezra Holbrook couldn't finish the play. After 55 played minutes Paterson got a freekick which was hit by Miles Cowan. Dustin Shaver didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-2 via right post in the game's 59th minute. Warrensville Heights's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 64th minute Carlo Ivey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ward Kruse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Lewis Daniel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ward Kruse. Warrensville Heights's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lewis Daniel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 72nd minute, Warrensville Heights's Ezra Holbrook ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Danial Denton. Danial Denton yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Ezra Holbrook kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Danial Denton. That made the score 1-4 in the 81 minute of play. The supporters of Warrensville Heights booed when Paterson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miles Cowan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A long shot from Shane Sheffield in the 86th minute of play was well struck, but Danial Denton made a really good save at the right post. Carlo Ivey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Paterson getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Carlo Ivey hit a great ball. The Paterson supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Warrensville Heights's performance. The match ended with a win for Warrensville Heights.
