The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matthew Sanderson was the one to do the kick off. Allen Herring showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Austin Ragsdale in the 53rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Brent's Clint Boone got a free kick in the 54th minute. Kevin Leach acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 55th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rob Newton. Barry Benavides recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Perry Cano hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If Matthew Sanderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthew Sanderson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Kevin Leach made a huge save. With a little luck, Brent's Kevin Leach got control of the ball when Matthew Sanderson tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Milford Mill getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Collin Dean hit a great ball. Austin Ragsdale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Perry Cano came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Milford Mill fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Perry Cano couldn't finish the play. Darnell Douglas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
