Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Walton Rutledge kicked off to start the match. When Charlie Lefler came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Xenia AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Lefler couldn't finish the play. 16 minutes into the game, Perry Cano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Milford Mill's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xenia AFC the free kick. After 16 played minutes Milford Mill got a freekick which was hit by Perry Cano. Xenia AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Houston Newman in the 19th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walton Rutledge in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allen Herring prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 1-0 became the score in the 24th minute when Walton Rutledge elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Christopher Owens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Christopher Owens fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Walton Rutledge received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Allen Herring came out and tried to block the shot, but Walton Rutledge slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Milford Mill's zone, Walton Rutledge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allen Herring came out of the goal and Walton Rutledge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christopher Owens kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 40thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Milford Mill's keeper Allen Herring was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Christopher Owens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Allen Herring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Christopher Owens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lee Leon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Xenia AFC's Tuan Bruner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lee Leon in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute Lee Leon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuan Bruner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Xenia AFC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Houston Newman hit a great ball. Allen Herring showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walton Rutledge in the 63rd minute of the match. After 65 played minutes Milford Mill got a freekick which was hit by Collin Dean. After a rather tough play, Milford Mill's Perry Cano got a free kick in the 67th minute. Rob Newton charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rob Newton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Milford Mill! In the 78th minute Christopher Owens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allen Herring saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matthew Sanderson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Tuan Bruner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Charlie Lefler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xenia AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Milford Mill the free kick. Perry Cano hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Matthew Sanderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuan Bruner having to interfere. Allen Herring took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walton Rutledge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Milford Mill's goal looked a bit too open when Walton Rutledge came free, but Allen Herring reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Allen Herring showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christopher Owens in the 97th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Xenia AFC had won after a very even match.
