Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute, Belvidere AFC's Ronald Sutton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Colby Stein. Colby Stein yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Cherryland's Pete Sheehan got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Leland Gibbons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Belvidere AFC booed when Cherryland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pete Sheehan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Ronald Sutton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belvidere AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronald Sutton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Colby Stein breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Pete Sheehan fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cherryland's protests and gave Pete Sheehan a yellow card for diving instead. Steven Trent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Case having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Leland Gibbons left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belvidere AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 41 minutes into the game, Cherryland's Steven Trent nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damian Case made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.

The wind increased when Steven Trent made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Corey Noel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cherryland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belvidere AFC the free kick. After 51 played minutes Cherryland got a freekick which was hit by Corey Noel. Colby Stein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leland Gibbons in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Sutton in the 60th minute of play forced Cherryland's goalkeeper Colby Stein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steven Trent was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. Cherryland's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ronald Sutton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colby Stein having to interfere. Steven Trent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Case having to interfere. Kirk Numbers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Case having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cherryland's Shaun Farr got a free kick in the 85th minute. When Steven Trent came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Cherryland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steven Trent couldn't finish the play. Ronald Sutton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Colby Stein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Steven Trent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
