Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ahmed Pierce started the match with the kick off. Gilbert Arroyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derick Cordero in the 4th minute of play. Kip Bennett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo McKinnon in the 5th minute of play. Casper Smart kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Ahmed Pierce scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kip Bennett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 12 played minutes, Hazlehurst's Korey Langley shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gilbert Arroyo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hazlehurst reached it. A collision led to Barboursville getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Lyle Morrow hit a great ball. Barboursville's Gilbert Arroyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derick Cordero in the 21st minute of play. Giuseppe Morris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Espinoza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilbert Arroyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casper Smart in the 31st minute of the match. After 40 minutes of play, Hazlehurst's Giuseppe Morris made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilbert Arroyo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Giuseppe Morris came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Hazlehurst fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giuseppe Morris couldn't finish the play. Gilbert Arroyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derick Cordero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Derick Cordero made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Fabian Espinoza notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Barboursville's Gilbert Arroyo. Gilbert Arroyo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gilbert Arroyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derick Cordero in the 56th minute of the match. Gilbert Arroyo was a little too slow when Fabian Espinoza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-3. Barboursville's Osvaldo McKinnon got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmed Pierce charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmed Pierce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Santos Clement hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmed Pierce in the 72nd minute of play forced Hazlehurst's goalkeeper Kip Bennett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kip Bennett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Pierce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Hazlehurst's zone, Ahmed Pierce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kip Bennett came out of the goal and Ahmed Pierce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Derick Cordero in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilbert Arroyo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hazlehurst's Kip Bennett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Pierce in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Ahmed Pierce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kip Bennett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Osvaldo McKinnon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barboursville's Gilbert Arroyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casper Smart in the 85th minute of play. Fabian Espinoza got in the 89th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Gilbert Arroyo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ahmed Pierce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kip Bennett was relentless in the 91st minute of the game.
