Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Roosevelt Tran took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ervin Trimble made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bronson Silva in the 3rd minute of play. Cason Burch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathan Groves having to interfere. Sawmills's Nathan Groves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cason Burch in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Cottonport AFC's Jeff Bonner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nathan Groves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cason Burch didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 24th minute. Cottonport AFC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! A collision led to Sawmills getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Wendell Everett hit a great ball. Vernon McNamara was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Cason Burch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathan Groves having to interfere. When Lincoln Ferrell fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cottonport AFC's protests and gave Lincoln Ferrell a yellow card for diving instead. Nathan Groves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cason Burch's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Sawmills's Nathan Groves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Sawmills from getting a goal against them. Nathan Groves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeff Bonner in the 45th minute.

The wind increased when Cason Burch made the kick off in the second half. Connor Beach kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Cason Burch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Connor Beach fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sawmills's protests and gave Connor Beach a yellow card for diving instead. Connor Beach kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Cason Burch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Sawmills booed when Cottonport AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lincoln Ferrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute of the match, Bronson Silva got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ervin Trimble was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Bronson Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jeff Bonner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sawmills's Gabriel Vincent got a free kick in the 80th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cason Burch in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nathan Groves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nathan Groves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cason Burch in the 86th minute of play. Jeff Bonner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Nathan Groves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nathan Groves came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Cottonport AFC's Cason Burch. But to his dismay, Cason Burch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Roosevelt Tran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cottonport AFC fully deserved thier win.
