Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cason Burch kicked off to start the match. Osvaldo McKinnon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ervin Trimble showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo McKinnon in the 10th minute of the match. Ahmed Pierce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilbert Arroyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeff Bonner in the 18th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Ahmed Pierce could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Ervin Trimble however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 22 minutes, Osvaldo McKinnon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barboursville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo McKinnon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 25 played minutes Barboursville got a freekick which was hit by Roscoe Goff. If Cason Burch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeff Bonner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Gilbert Arroyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilbert Arroyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cason Burch in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Cottonport AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jeremiah Howard hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Jeff Bonner had to leave the field with a concussion. After 43 played minutes Barboursville got a freekick which was hit by Wallace Ragsdale.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmed Pierce to strike the kick off in the second half. Ahmed Pierce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ervin Trimble having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Ahmed Pierce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ervin Trimble saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Barboursville booed when Cottonport AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cason Burch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lincoln Ferrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Gilbert Arroyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, one of Barboursville:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lincoln Ferrell hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Erik Eddy's late challenge caught a Barboursville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erik Eddy helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cottonport AFC's Erik Eddy got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute Cason Burch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Arroyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilbert Arroyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cason Burch in the 96th minute of the match. If Cason Burch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
