Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jacques Gann took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sagamore AFC's Joey Bauer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Sagamore AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 6th minute, Darnell Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luciano Young fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joey Bauer having to interfere. Joey Bauer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daren Driver in the 10th minute. When Daren Driver came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Grayslake FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daren Driver couldn't finish the play. Daren Driver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joey Bauer having to interfere. Luciano Young received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Joey Bauer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joey Bauer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Young in the 30th minute of the match. Grayslake FC's Mitch Arredondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacques Gann in the 35th minute of play. Sagamore AFC's Jacques Gann got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daren Driver could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Joey Bauer made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Jacques Gann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Mitch Arredondo made a huge save. Joey Bauer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otis Lovett, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Joey Bauer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otis Lovett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sagamore AFC's Jacques Gann got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacques Gann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Mitch Arredondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sagamore AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
