A collision led to NY92 getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Rocky Shipman hit a great ball. Ricky James received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ezra Hendrix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricky James scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ezra Hendrix, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brendan Youngblood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute Dylan Dawkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Devon Hutchins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricky James fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezra Hendrix having to interfere. Brendan Youngblood who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Ezra Hendrix when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ricky James had several of the NY92's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Ezra Hendrix as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to Torrance getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Julio Ladd hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dylan Dawkins in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Devon Hutchins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes into the match, NY92's goalkeeper Ezra Hendrix had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brendan Youngblood. If Willis Dobson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 58th match minute, NY92 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rocky Shipman to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in NY92's zone, Brendan Youngblood stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezra Hendrix came out of the goal and Brendan Youngblood tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricky James in the 62nd minute of play forced NY92's goalkeeper Ezra Hendrix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Vito Randolph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to NY92 getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Thad Bledsoe hit a great ball. When Fernando Kelly fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Torrance's protests and gave Fernando Kelly a yellow card for diving instead. Fernando Kelly kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dylan Dawkins in the 69th minute of play forced Torrance's goalkeeper Devon Hutchins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trent Roark's late challenge caught a NY92's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Trent Roark helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Torrance's Trent Roark got a free kick in the 77th minute. Brendan Youngblood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ezra Hendrix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricky James recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Torrance fully deserved thier win.
