Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sandstone's Rhett Lockwood started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Desmond Waller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolando Fournier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rhett Funk, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Kasey Sutherland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rhett Lockwood in the 11th minute of play. Rhett Lockwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Kasey Sutherland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kennewick's Val Pham pulled a muscle in his leg after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Tory Kramer charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tory Kramer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes Sandstone got a freekick which was hit by Tory Kramer. Nick Candido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Kasey Sutherland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kennewick's zone, Nick Candido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kasey Sutherland came out of the goal and Nick Candido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rhett Lockwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Kasey Sutherland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandstone's Tory Kramer got his second yellow card of the match in the 40th minute. The referee ordered Tory Kramer off the ground. After a rather tough play, Sandstone's Tory Kramer got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute, Nick Candido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sandstone fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Desmond Waller to make the kick off. Russell Blair received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Kasey Sutherland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Kennewick's goal looked a bit too open when Nick Candido came free, but Kasey Sutherland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Nick Candido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasey Sutherland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nick Candido in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kasey Sutherland saved Kennewick from getting behind. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kennewick's goalkeeper Kasey Sutherland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nick Candido in the 78th minute of play forced Kennewick's goalkeeper Kasey Sutherland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Russell Blair came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Sandstone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Russell Blair couldn't finish the play. Nick Candido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Kasey Sutherland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nick Candido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasey Sutherland having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sandstone's Monroe Marin got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Nick Candido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Aidan Valentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
