Waylon Biggs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victor Wright during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chelan AFC's Victor Wright got a free kick in the 6th minute. Harvey Lay made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Zane Patrick sent off a good shot on target. After 12 played minutes Fort Drum AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jay Nelson. In the 13th minute of the match Garret Hedrick sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Waylon Biggs skillfully saved the ball. Johnathon Hood's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waylon Biggs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Chelan AFC's zone, Zane Patrick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harvey Lay came out of the goal and Zane Patrick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Chelan AFC's Victor Wright got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Fort Drum AFC's Brandon Jacob dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Harvey Lay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brandon Jacob in the 35th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chelan AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! After 39 minutes Chelan AFC's goalkeeper Harvey Lay managed, with a little bit of luck, save Walker Mosher's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. 39 minutes into the game, Fort Drum AFC's Walker Mosher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harvey Lay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Waylon Biggs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darius Ortega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Darius Ortega to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Fort Drum AFC's zone, Johnathon Hood stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waylon Biggs came out of the goal and Johnathon Hood tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brandon Jacob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harvey Lay having to interfere. Waylon Biggs came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Chelan AFC's Johnathon Hood. But to his dismay, Johnathon Hood quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Harvey Lay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zane Patrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Zane Patrick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harvey Lay was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brandon Jacob in the 77th minute of play forced Chelan AFC's goalkeeper Harvey Lay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 played minutes Chelan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Victor Wright. Zane Patrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82ndth minute of the game Brandon Jacob who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chelan AFC's Harvey Lay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 84th minute Brandon Jacob shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harvey Lay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Fort Drum AFC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Brandon Jacob hit a great ball. If Leo Winter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Fort Drum AFC's Waylon Biggs got control of the ball when Johnathon Hood tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chelan AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fort Drum AFC.
