Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dirk Hargrove kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danny Stokes in the 3rd minute of play forced Ansonia AFC's goalkeeper Felipe Reese to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, Dwayne McGee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daryl Vincent in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Reese prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mitchell Travis took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felipe Reese. Felipe Reese dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Xavier Bailey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lake Wissota FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavier Bailey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Reese breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felipe Reese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Bailey in the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Ansonia AFC's Cedric Matson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Avery Munoz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Cedric Matson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mitch Shepherd got free with Avery Munoz in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daryl Vincent in the 37th minute of play forced Ansonia AFC's goalkeeper Felipe Reese to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Lake Wissota FC's Raymundo Ernst got a free kick in the 38th minute. Ansonia AFC's Ervin Velasquez got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xavier Bailey to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitch Shepherd in the 52nd minute of play forced Lake Wissota FC's goalkeeper Avery Munoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lake Wissota FC's zone, Marlin Talley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Avery Munoz came out of the goal and Marlin Talley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xavier Bailey scored 1-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felipe Reese, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ansonia AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! Xavier Bailey placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mitch Shepherd during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lake Wissota FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Kristopher Carey hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lake Wissota FC's zone, Ervin Velasquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Avery Munoz came out of the goal and Ervin Velasquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salvador Copeland during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th match minute, Lake Wissota FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Copeland to maneuver through the defense. After 79 minutes, Raymundo Ernst mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lake Wissota FC and the Ansonia AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ansonia AFC booed when Lake Wissota FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymundo Ernst didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Reese made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristopher Carey in the 86th minute of play. Ansonia AFC's Felipe Reese proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Ansonia AFC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daryl Vincent in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felipe Reese saved Ansonia AFC from getting behind. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lake Wissota FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
