Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Preston Barnett kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Preston Barnett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stephen Corona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brielle's attack was well implemented in the 5th minute, but when Brendon Crandall was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Brielle's Stephen Corona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenneth Mendez in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Brielle's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Oscar Winslow fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Stephen Corona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Winslow in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Preston Barnett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Brielle's goalkeeper Stephen Corona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Winslow. Oscar Winslow took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stephen Corona. Stephen Corona dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Preston Barnett came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Odem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Preston Barnett couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Brielle's Pete Starnes got a free kick in the 30th minute. Oscar Winslow could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Stephen Corona made a huge save. 33 minutes into the match, Brielle's goal looked a bit too open when Preston Barnett came free, but Stephen Corona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Winslow could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Stephen Corona made a huge save. German Kern took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brendon Crandall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basil Mabry during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Basil Mabry kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes, Brielle's Don Moses shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper German Kern came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brielle reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Philip Hutchison during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Odem getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Philip Hutchison hit a great ball. Brendon Crandall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. German Kern tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Odem:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Brielle:s goal. The referee gave Brielle a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Don Moses, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Odem's German Kern. 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brendon Crandall to strike the kick off in the second half. Stephen Corona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philip Hutchison, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute, Philip Hutchison ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stephen Corona was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Darryl Elliot charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darryl Elliot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Odem's Darryl Elliot got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 72 minutes of play, Odem's Kenneth Mendez made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stephen Corona was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Odem's goalkeeper German Kern, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Oscar Winslow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philip Hutchison recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Brielle's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Winslow came free, but Stephen Corona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stephen Corona came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Odem's Oscar Winslow. But to his dismay, Oscar Winslow quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Stephen Corona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Winslow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Odem were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Brielle for a fine match.
