Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Preston Barnett started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Viola FC's Jose Wall sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that German Kern narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, Oscar Winslow had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos McCullough. Viola FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oscar Winslow was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Oscar Winslow's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos McCullough was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Viola FC's Marcos McCullough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Preston Barnett in the 11th minute of play. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Preston Barnett sped through Viola FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcos McCullough. 20 minutes into the game, Jose Wall recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of German Kern. Jose Wall showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jose Wall in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck German Kern prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Preston Barnett struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Marcos McCullough didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Odem. In the 29th minute, Viola FC's Jose Wall dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Viola FC's Marcos McCullough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Preston Barnett in the 33rd minute of play. Bernie Yoder's late challenge caught a Odem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernie Yoder helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Viola FC's Bernie Yoder got a free kick in the 39th minute. Oscar Winslow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 57 minutes of play, Odem's Oscar Winslow made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos McCullough was left in no man's land by his defense there! 65 minutes into the match, Odem's goal looked a bit too open when Earl Ragland came free, but German Kern reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose Wall in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg German Kern saved Odem from getting behind. Earl Ragland scored 3-3 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of German Kern, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Viola FC's Marcos McCullough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Preston Barnett in the 76th minute of play. If Jose Wall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darryl Elliot kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. German Kern made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Wall in the 85th minute of play. Marcos McCullough showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Preston Barnett, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The supporters of Odem booed when Viola FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedict Hawk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maxwell Huggins kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Earl Ragland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
